Jordan Ayew scored in injury time against Southampton as Leicester City staged a come back on Saturday afternoon. After a disappointing stint with Ghana during the international break, Ayew made a cameo from the bench.
Leicester had their backs on the wall with the home side leading by two goals to nil. Substitute Abdul Fatawu Issahaku produced a magnificient performance as he registered an assist.
Facundo Buonanotte pulled one back before Jamie Vardy coolly converted a penalty in the 74th minute, drawing the scores level and igniting hope among the travelling fans.
Just when it seemed the match would end in a draw, Ayew rose to the occasion, striking in injury time after being expertly assisted by Harry Wink.
This is Jordan Ayew’s first premier league for Leicester City.
