Jordan Ayew Scores as Leicester City Beat Southampton

Ghana captain Jordan Ayew scored his fifth Premier League goal of the season in Leicester City’s 2-0 win over Southampton on May 3, 2025.

Ayew doubled the lead for the Foxes in the 44th minute with a well-taken shot from 22 yards.

Ayew capitalized on a free-kick rebound to fire a low shot past Ramsdale. Leicester City, who have already been relegated, controlled the match and secured a convincing victory.

The win saw Ayew improve his Premier League tally to five goals this season. He has now scored three goals in 16 appearances against Southampton.

Ayew was substituted in the 70th minute, replaced by Jeremy Monga.
