John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, has pledged to upgrade the Moree Health Centre to a fully functional polyclinic if elected president.
This move, he stated, aims to significantly enhance healthcare access for residents of Moree and surrounding communities, ensuring better medical services and facilities.
Speaking to a crowd in Moree during his #Mahama4Change2024 campaign tour in the Central Region, Mr. Mahama outlined several key developmental projects for the region should the NDC emerge victorious in the upcoming elections.
He highlighted the importance of delivering practical solutions to improve the lives of Ghanaians, particularly in areas that have long faced neglect.
John Mahama also called on Ghanaians to choose leadership grounded in experience, stressing that the country’s current challenges require someone with the necessary skills and track record to lead effectively.
“At this stage, Ghana needs an experienced driver to steer us forward, not an inexperienced driver’s mate,” he stated, in a pointed critique of the current administration’s handling of the country’s affairs.
In addition to the health sector, John Mahama made another crucial promise: the construction of a sea defence project in Moree.
This initiative, he said, would help protect the community’s properties and livelihoods from the devastating impact of coastal erosion and rising sea levels.
The NDC leader’s campaign focused on restoring stability and addressing the urgent needs of communities across Ghana, positioning himself as the leader capable of securing the country’s future.
