John Mahama Concludes Successful #Mahama4Change2024 Tour of Eastern Region – A Desktop Report

The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has successfully concluded his #Mahama4Change2024 campaign tour of the Eastern Region.

During the five-day tour, John Mahama engaged with thousands of supporters, promising transformative national development policies aimed at addressing the country’s challenges and improving the lives of Ghanaians.

Day One: A Vibrant Start
The tour began with a campaign durbar at the Nsawam Lorry Park in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri constituency, where John Mahama energized supporters with his vision for national transformation.

He then proceeded to Teacher Mante in the Ayensuano constituency, where a mini-community durbar was held.

The campaign made another stop at Adeiso in the Upper West Akim District, where Mr. Mahama engaged residents on the NDC’s plans to revitalize the local economy.

The day also saw visits to Asamankese, Kyebi, Suhum, and Koforidua, where the candidate rounded off with an enthusiastic crowd, marking a strong close to the first day.

Day Two: Expanding the Reach
Day Two commenced at Akroso in the Asene Manso Akroso constituency, where a lively durbar was held.

John Mahama then visited several key locations, including Achiase, Aduasa, Akim Oda, Ofoase Ayirebi, Kade, and Boadua. Each stop featured vibrant community engagements where he outlined the NDC’s commitment to job creation, infrastructure development, and improving social services.

Day Three: Tradition Meets Transformation
On the third day, John Mahama engaged with traditional leaders and residents at Effiduase Chief’s Palace.

He then addressed a mini durbar at Kukurantumi in Abuakwa North before leading a spirited rally in Begoro. Stops at Osino in Fanteakwa South, Kwabeng, Anyinam, and Abirem continued to highlight his message of inclusive development and regional revitalization.

Day Four: Connecting with the Grassroots
The fourth day saw John Mahama traveling to Donkorkrom, where he held a community engagement that focused on the NDC’s plans to tackle economic challenges in rural areas.

He also met supporters in Maame Krobo in the Afram Plains South district, Kwahu Tafo, Mpraeso, and Nkawkaw, where he reiterated the party’s pledge to improve the agricultural sector and rural livelihoods.

Day Five: A Grand Finale
The final day began with a live interview on Sunrise FM, during which Mahama reflected on the tour’s success and emphasized the NDC’s readiness to govern.

He then visited Asesewa, Atimpoku, Odumase, Somanya, Dawu, Mampong, and Aburi.

Each location witnessed massive turnouts as Mahama interacted with enthusiastic supporters and reinforced the NDC’s message of hope and change.

A Campaign of Momentum
Throughout the tour, large crowds warmly welcomed John Mahama, a testament to the strong grassroots support for the NDC in the Eastern Region.
