John Dumelo Champions Education as Dzorwulu Gets First Major Classroom Project in 50 Years

Actor-turned-politician John Dumelo is once again winning hearts, not on the big screen this time, but on the ground, as he officially cut the sod for the construction of a brand-new 18-unit classroom block in Dzorwulu.

Sharing the update on X, John Dumelo revealed that the school, despite existing for over 50 years, has never benefited from any major classroom infrastructure since its inception.

Standing alongside the Municipal Chief Executive, Dr Mensah, the sod-cutting ceremony marked the beginning of a long-awaited transformation for the school and the wider community.

Describing the project as one that will serve Dzorwulu and beyond, Dumelo emphasised the importance of investing in education as a foundation for community development.

The new classroom block is expected to improve learning conditions, reduce congestion, and give pupils a more conducive environment to thrive.

For many residents, this project represents hope, progress, and a clear sign that leadership can bring real change at the grassroots level. John Dumelo’s message was simple but powerful: development is a collective effort.

With the rallying call, “Let’s together make Ayawaso West great!” the former actor continues to blend purpose with action, proving that impact goes beyond words when leaders show up and deliver.

From movies to meaningful milestones, John Dumelo is steadily writing a new chapter—one built on service, growth, and community transformation.
