Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central in the Western Region and the Western Regional Patron of the Women’s Working Committee, has made a significant financial contribution to support the efforts of women organizers in the party ahead of the December 7, 2024, elections.
She presented a generous sum of GH¢20,000 to each of the Women Organizers of the 17 constituencies in the Western Region, amounting to a total of GH¢340,000.
Recognizing the vital role women play in organizing and mobilizing support, especially during election periods, Joana Gyan Cudjoe further bolstered her support by donating GH¢100,000 to the Regional Women’s Organizer and an additional GH¢30,000 to each of her two deputies.
In total, her financial commitment to empowering women in the party amounted to an impressive GH¢500,000.
During the official presentation of the funds to the Western Regional Women’s Organizer, Madam Gladys Egyir, and the Deputy Western Regional Treasurer, Ms. Mirian Plange-Kwofie, Joana Gyan Cudjoe took the opportunity to stress the importance of unity within the party.
She called on all members and supporters to put aside any differences and work together toward the common goal of securing victory in the upcoming elections.
In her speech, she urged the party faithful to actively join the campaign and rally behind the NDC’s presidential ticket, led by John Dramani Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, as well as all 17 parliamentary candidates representing the party in the Western Region.
Her passionate appeal for solidarity emphasized that victory in the elections would only be possible through collective efforts and cooperation.
