Jennifer Cudjoe Joins Brooklyn FC for 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League Season

Ghanaian midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe has officially joined Brooklyn Football Club for the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season. The 31-year-old Black Queens star was unveiled on November 5, just days after playing a key role in Ghana’s 7-0 aggregate victory over Egypt to qualify for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Cudjoe moves from DC Power United, where she spent the 2024/25 season, and her transfer remains subject to league and federation approval. She could make her Brooklyn debut as early as November 8 when her new club hosts her former team, DC Power FC, at Maimonides Park.

Brooklyn sporting director Kevin Tenjo praised the signing: “Jennifer is an experienced player and a true leader. Her composure, professionalism, and passion for the game will make a huge impact on our group.”

Cudjoe expressed excitement about the move: “Brooklyn is building something truly new and ambitious in American soccer, and I’m excited to be part of it.”

A former Hasaacas Ladies player, Cudjoe was instrumental in Ghana’s bronze medal finish at the 2024 WAFCON and contributed two assists during the recent qualification campaign.
