Ghanaian reggae artist Jahbeloved has united fellow musicians to promote peace through a collaborative song titled “Stand for Peace” ahead of the 2024 elections in Ghana.
The song features 14 reggae and dancehall artists, including Jahbeloved, 7 Fireside, Kente, Knii Lante, Osagyefo, XLNC Fiifi Selah, Ruki, Alaptawan, Kwame Partan, Oko Lacy, Fantiman Joujou, Kojo Kombolo, Topgyal Renner, and Aklerh.
Jahbeloved emphasized that the song’s message advocates for peace, patriotism, and fairness during the upcoming elections. He urged political parties and leaders to prioritize Ghana’s well-being and uphold peace and fairness throughout the electoral process.
Additionally, he encouraged Ghanaian youth to prioritize the nation’s interests and not allow themselves to be manipulated for selfish gains.
The song, produced by Kormantse Muziki, aims to serve as an anthem for not only the 2024 elections but also for future electoral processes.
The production involved collaboration with the artists, with each providing their own footage for the video, which was expertly crafted at Imperial Media Concepts in Texas, USA.
