Interim head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prince Yaw Owusu, has warned his players against complacency as they prepare to face Vision FC in Sunday’s Ghana Premier League encounter.
Speaking to AKSC Media, Owusu stressed that despite the Porcupine Warriors’ morale-boosting victory over Young Apostles, the upcoming clash presents a completely different challenge.
“It won’t be easy,” he cautioned.
Kotoko responded strongly to their Super Clash setback against rivals Hearts of Oak by securing a convincing 2-0 win over Young Apostles, a result that restored confidence within the squad. However, Owusu insists that sustaining momentum requires focus, discipline and consistency.
“We are ready to face Vision FC. It won’t be easy, but in the end, victory will be ours,” he added.
With the Ghana Premier League known for its unpredictability, the experienced tactician is keen to ensure his side approach the Week 24 fixture with the right mentality, fully aware that no opponent can be underestimated.
The match will be staged at the Baba Yara Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3:00 pm. Kotoko will be aiming to make home advantage count as they push to finish the season strongly.
