Interior Ministry Opens Nationwide Recruitment for Four Security Agencies

The Ministry of the Interior has officially announced the launch of a nationwide recruitment exercise for four major security institutions, the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry, the recruitment process will run from November 15 to December 15, as part of government efforts to strengthen Ghana’s internal security framework and enhance public safety across the country.

> “This recruitment drive is aimed at strengthening Ghana’s internal security architecture, enhancing public safety, and promoting effective service delivery across all security agencies,” the statement noted.

 

The Ministry encouraged all qualified, disciplined, and patriotic Ghanaian citizens who are eager to serve their country with integrity, professionalism, and dedication to apply within the stipulated period.

Further details on available vacancies, entry requirements, and application procedures for each security agency will be published soon through official government communication channels.

Meanwhile, the Ministry cautioned the public against fraudulent recruitment schemes. It stressed that no fees are charged at any stage of the process, and warned applicants not to engage with individuals or groups claiming to have the ability to influence recruitment outcomes.

> “Anyone found submitting false documents or dealing with unauthorized persons will be automatically disqualified and may face prosecution,” the statement added.

 

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, merit-based selection, and fairness throughout the entire recruitment process.
