Black Stars striker Inaki Williams is set to miss Ghana’s Afcon qualifier against Angola and Niger due to injury.
Athletico Bilbao confirmed the sad news ahead of their game against Rayo Valladolid.
“Athletic Club forward Inaki Williams will miss Sunday’s LaLiga clash with Real Valladolid after straining his left hamstring muscles.”
The Black Stars face a daunting task in qualifying for the 2025 Afcon having picked up only two points from four matches. They will have to finish the qualifying campaign without Inaki Williams who has five goals in the domestic flight for Bilbao.
Ghana are up against Angola and Niger on the 15th and 18th of this month respectively.
