The Athletic Bilbao hitman landed in Ghana on Monday evening and is expected to hold talks with Ghana FA to switch his nationality to represent Ghana.
The striker has been a long term target for the national team and is on the verge of accepting to play for the Black Stars team soon.
Despite rejecting the idea to play for Ghana some time ago, the Ghanaian football gurus were determined to lure the player to change his mind and play for his parent country.
After Spain snubbed him, the player looks certain to don the famous Black Stars jersey and play for the four-time Africa Cup of Nations winners.
