The Ghana forward cites inconsistent results, with Bilbao 12th in La Liga and facing an uphill battle in the Champions League group stage.
“Things aren’t turning out the way we want them to. We know it, and we feel it. But this group remains standing. There’s still a long way to go; we’re alive and with the same ambition as always,” Williams wrote on X.
Despite injury woes, Williams has made 19 appearances, scoring once. Athletic Bilbao aims to secure a Champions League playoff spot in the final group phase games.
