President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council has lashed out at Prophets who have taken political sides to declare which Political party wins the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections slated for December this year.
Rev. Paul Frimpong Manso contends that, the electoral process has been accepted as the process of choosing a leader, and questioned the validity of prophecy in elections.
He said, such prophecies are fake and cannot be originating from God.
Some popular so-called prophets over the years prophecied to declare the results of a particular elections. Unfortunately, other sets of same people also give a counter prophecy causing confusion within the country’s political space.
These prophets seem to be on the side of a particular political divide, bringing priesthood to the gutters, and causing people to denigrate the high office of the Prophetic Ministry.
Rev. Frimpong- Manso in an interaction with the running mate of the NDC- Prof Jane Naana noted that, such practices are wrong, fake and false and no one should believe them. Adding that, these ‘prophet’ are in to deceive all.
