Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International (GWPMI), Bishop Isaac Owusu Bempah has warned the New Patriotic Party, to cease casting aspersions on his person and Prophetic Office, or risk reaping severe repercussions of their actions in this year’s and subsequent elections.
The GWPMI founder was speaking during a church service on Sunday, October 6th.
His warning follows on the heels of his recent prophetic word that Ex-President John Dramani Mahama will win this year’s election and subsequent media backlash.
Last week, former President and presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, extended an invitation to members of the Clergy to Fellowship with him.
At that gathering, Rev. Dr. Owusu-Bempah declared Mr Mahama, winner of the impending December polls.
“Because of your kind-heartedness God has handed over the country to you and nothing can change it,” he declared.
He stressed, “through you, the nation will move forward and nothing can stop it”.
Hours after Rev Bempah’s prayer declaration at Mr Mahama’s encounter with the Clergy, some section of the public questioned his strange prophetic volte-face by alluding to earlier declarations that the former President is tainted with blood and could never become President of Ghana.
Reacting to these remarks, the revered Man of God pointed to the scriptures, stating that the mind of God is subject to change.
Bawumia Won’t Poll 40% If,
Throwing down the gauntlet, Bishop Owusu Bempah touted his prophetic prowess by cautioning elements within the ruling New Patriotic Party against provoking him, since he holds the keys to the party’s electoral success.
“I say that if I don’t intervene, you can never return to power, and now that I have abstained, we shall see… Whatever assurance you have is my doing. You, Abronye, you are lightweight. Lawyer Obiri Boahen and Kusi Boafo, you are all lightweight, so Dr. Bawumia does not have certain conversations with you. Do you know the conversations I have had with the Vice President?…
He warned that should the NPP not stay humble and continue beating its chest proudly, he will ensure that they fail to secure even 40% in the upcoming general elections, whiles the party’s dream of increasing votes in the Ashanti Region becomes a mirage.
“If the NPP does not take care, they won’t even get 40%. I hold the key to your victory. It was given to me in 2016, and I still wield it. Any presenter or blogger who will insult me for this will suffer from incurable sickness. The more you provoke me, the more you lose votes. If you joke and I go to the Ashanti Region, you won’t get even 60% of the 80% you are looking for…,” he warned
“I am not speaking out of pain; they have been rejected by the earth because their leadership did not pacify the earth. The land of Ghana is angry with the NPP political party, the rivers are angry, the trees are angry, and the heavens are angry. God is sitting in his abode, and you promised to build a cathedral for him. Where is the cathedral?” he questioned.
