Mohammed Isaah, the NDC Constituency Chairman in Tema West, has issued a stern warning to the NPP, cautioning them against attempting to manipulate the upcoming December polls.
Speaking at a community engagement event organized by Ahotor FM 92.3, at Sakumono Estate Junctions on Wednesday 30th October, Isaah emphasized the NDC’s commitment to ensuring incident-free elections, while also vowing to prevent any attempts to subvert the will of the people, as allegedly occurred in the 2020 polls.
The event brought together Lawyer James Enu, NDC Parliamentary candidate as well as the NPP Parliamentary candidate, Dennis Amfo Sefah.
There were various interest groups who came to the program to share their concerns and expectation ahead of the elections.
Isaah referenced the NPP’s 28-year hold on the Tema West seat but expressed confidence that the NDC, under his leadership, would seize the seat in the forthcoming election.
He urged party members and supporters to rally behind the NDC, praising flagbearer John Dramani Mahama and parliamentary candidate Lawyer James Enu as the ideal duo to break the NPP’s monopoly in the upcoming December Polls.

The chairman highlighted several infrastructural projects initiated by former President John Mahama and the NDC, citing road challenges in areas like Adjei Kojo, Spintex Road, and Sakumono.
He encouraged voters to return the NDC to power to continue their development programs and policies.
Chairman Isaah’s statements come amidst tensions between the NDC and NPP, with the NDC seeking to prevent a repeat of alleged electoral manipulation which took place in the 2020 General Elections.
The NPP has historically been a dominant force in Tema West politics. A development the NDC consider and describe as a fallacy. Especially when NDC has reiterated that the NPP has underperformed poorly in the constituency.
