Ibrahim Sulemana Scores Debut Atalanta Goal
Ghana midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana scored his first goal for Atalanta in a 2-1 win over AS Roma in the Serie A.
Sulemana, introduced in the 68th minute, made an instant impact, scoring a long-range shot that sealed the victory.
Atalanta took the lead through Ademola Lookman in the 9th minute, but Roma equalized through Bryan Cristante in the 32nd minute.
Sulemana’s decisive goal secured maximum points for Atalanta, guaranteeing their qualification for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League.
The 21-year-old Ghana international expressed his excitement on Instagram, saying, “What a way to score your first goal.” Sulemana has faced injury setbacks this season but hopes to feature more in Atalanta’s final two games against Genoa and Parma.
