The National Vice Chairperson and a former women’s organizer for the national Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam Anita Desosoo has stated that she will lead a demonstration against the current government should it refuse to pay the allowance due caterers on the School feeding program.
According to her she has a reliable information that most of these women on the program especially those constructed by the previous government will have their contracts abrogated.
She emphasized that she would not have any problem should that happen, but all that she is calling for is the payment due them.
“Most of these women on this scheme took loans and they will need to pay back, I don’t care if they are taken off the program, but they need to be paid”
“I will personally lead a demonstration against the government should they refuse to pay and I am more than certain that all these women will gladly join me”
“Those on contract should keep their document well and not be disturb should it be abrogated”,she stated
Anita made this statement in a telephone conversation on Ahotor FM’s morning show, hosted by Emmanuel Quarshie (Hit man)
