Over ten thousand supporters and sympathizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Tema East, Greater Accra Region, joined their Member of Parliament, Isaac Ashai Odamtten, in a massive rally yesterday.
The group marched through the main streets of the community, canvassing for votes ahead of the 2024 elections. The rally was organized to promote the party’s 24-hour economic policy, introduced by NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama.
The walk, which began at the Kpelejootsoshishi durbar ground, covered key areas, including Tema Community 1, Bankuman, Acheampong Village, and Manhean, as the crowd chanted slogans in support of Mahama’s vision for economic transformation.
Addressing the enthusiastic supporters, Mr. Odamtten expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering love and support from his constituents.
He promised to continue serving as a loyal and trustworthy leader, ensuring the progress of Tema East.
He also highlighted the significance of the upcoming elections, urging supporters to intensify their efforts to secure victory for John Dramani Mahama as president and for himself as the MP.
Mr. Odamtten emphasized that Mahama’s 24-hour economic policy was a game-changer, designed to revitalize the country’s economy and bring prosperity to every Ghanaian.
He encouraged party members to actively engage their communities, spread the message of the NDC, and ensure that voter turnout is high.
