I was out of the country when I was removed as Deputy Minority Leader – Hon Klutse Avedzi.

Hon. James Klutse Avedzi, Member of Parliament for Ketu North in the Volta Region, recently shared insights into the circumstances surrounding his removal as Deputy Minority Leader in Parliament.

Speaking in an interview, Avedzi revealed that he was out of the country when news of his replacement broke, and he chose not to publicly address the matter at the time.

Avedzi emphasized that his removal did not impact his dedication to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) or his sense of identity as an MP.

He views the decision as one made by the party, which had initially given him the opportunity to serve in the leadership role.

Rather than feeling slighted, he expressed optimism, suggesting that a bigger role might await him within the party in the future.

Avedzi’s response reflects his commitment to the NDC’s collective mission, as he remains focused on his duties as an MP and hopeful for further contributions in other capacities.
