I Pray That Both Ghana And Sudan Qualify For AFCON – Coach Akwasi Appiah
Sudan’s head coach, Akwasi Appiah, has revealed his deepest hopes is for both Sudan and his native Ghana to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco .
Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter with the Black Stars, Akwasi Appiah, who previously managed the Black Stars emphasized the emotional connection he has with both nations.
Appiah took charge of Sudan’s national team in 2024, facing the challenge of helping the side navigate through AFCON qualification. He has been in charge of six games in all competitions , won four and lost two but in the 2025 Afcon qualifiers , in won one and lost one in two games.
Both Ghana and Sudan are strong contenders for the AFCON 2025 tournament and the Black Stars will rock shoulders with the Sudan counterparts at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday at exactly 4:00pm.
