US-based Ghanaian gospel musician turned-preacher Sonnie Badu recently opened up about the accident he had last December, revealing that he lost three toes on his right leg as a result.
He explained that the accident occurred while he was cleaning and slipped on a staircase with a metal railing. He managed to protect his head by falling on his shoulder, but his leg went through the sharp metal rail, causing his toes to be severed.
Sonnie Badu shared that he went through a period of depression for six months following the accident. He recounted the moment when he arrived at the hospital and discovered that his toes were missing.
Despite his team finding the severed toes and bringing them to the hospital in an iced box, the doctors were unable to reattach them.
This incident sheds light on the challenges Sonnie Badu faced and serves as a reminder of the importance of safety in our everyday lives.
