Fast-rising gospel act Adom Kiki is still coming to terms with what he describes as a “humbling” career milestone after earning a nomination at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2026.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Ahotor Mmre with Obaapa Janee, the Kumasi-based singer opened up about his unexpected nomination in the highly competitive New Artist of the Year category. According to him, the recognition came much earlier than he had imagined.
“I never thought I would be nominated for this award because I felt I hadn’t reached that level yet. I was just working towards it, not expecting it this soon,” he admitted.
Clearly overwhelmed but grateful, Adom Kiki expressed deep appreciation to the TGMA board for acknowledging his efforts. He noted that the nomination is not just a personal achievement but also a sign that his work and message are being seen and valued.
The gospel musician, who has been steadily building his brand and fanbase, said the recognition has motivated him to do even more. For him, this moment is both a reward and a responsibility to keep improving his sound, message, and overall artistry.

With his growing influence and inspiring songs Adom Kiki is not just a nominee—but a strong contender.
As anticipation builds toward the TGMA night, one thing is certain: this unexpected nomination has placed Adom Kiki firmly on the radar, and he’s embracing the moment with gratitude and renewed determination.
