The Commissioner of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Rev. Dr. Amisshaddai Owusu Amoah has responded to calls by some Ghanaians that he has run away from his duty that he has no cause to do so.
According to him, GRA is expected to roll out implementation next week as the President has assents his signature for the commencement of the new taxes.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with the media, Rev. Amisshaddai disclosed that some tax implemented can be started they day of assent which some of them needs a little time it takes effect which is why they are working assiduously put things in place to working for the betterment of the country.
Reacting to the rumors that he has run away he said that he has no cause to run away so nobody should think that because he’s here doing business and pushing for the taxes and I don’t have to respond to any rumors doesn’t mean I have run away from my duty. “He stated
