Nigerian music sensation Tiwa Savage has made it clear that she has no immediate plans to sign any artists under her wing.
In a recent interview with Forbes Africa, the Afrobeats star revealed that managing an artist can be overwhelming, and she doesn’t feel equipped to take on that responsibility at the moment.
“Handling an artist takes a lot, and right now, I don’t think I’m in a position to do that,” Tiwa stated. However, she reassured fans that she remains committed to supporting emerging talents in the industry.
Instead of signing artists, Tiwa prefers to uplift upcoming musicians through mentorship, collaborations, and other forms of support. Over the years, she has played a significant role in the growth of Afrobeats, inspiring and working with new talents.
While many speculated that Tiwa might establish her own record label, it seems her focus is on her own career and finding other ways to contribute to the industry. For now, she continues to shine as one of Africa’s biggest music icons while helping young artists in her own unique way.
