English born Callum Hudson Odoi claimed the UEFA Super Cup with Chelsea 6-5 on penalties after a 1-1 draw with Villarreal in Belfast on Wednesday.
Having had a marginal role at Chelsea last season, the 20- year old was handed a starting role last night and was very impressive until he made way for Azpilicueta in the 82nd minute .
The young striker failed to make it into England’ coach Gary Southgate’s squad and thus decided to visit Ghana in June.
Although Callum has pledged his allegiance to England, he has not lost touch with the fact that he is a Ghanaian and his father actually was a footballer who once played for Accra Hearts of Oak.
Odoi has now added a second trophy to the Champions League that he won in May.
