The Member of Parliament for Adansi Akrofuom Constituency, Hon. Joseph Azumah, has promised to support newly graduated tailors and dressmakers in his constituency to help reduce unemployment.
Speaking at the annual tailors and dressmakers graduation ceremony in Akrofuom, Azumah emphasized his commitment to helping them establish their businesses. “I assure you that my office, in collaboration with the Municipal Chief Executive and other authorities, will ensure that every graduate has access to a workspace, whether on government land or otherwise.”
He supported the ceremony with Ghc10,000 and gave each graduate Ghc 2000 start up capital.
Also he gave out eleven (11) sowing machine for the masters who trained the graduates to admit interested person who may lack money to buy and Ghc 15000 for the 2024 graduates who the former Mp promised but failed to honour.
Hon Azumah encouraged young people to take advantage of skill training programs, noting that the government’s apprenticeship initiative covers training costs. He urged them to get involved in skill training to secure a brighter future.
