At Sewfi Bodi still in the western region, Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo stated to party delegates that every misfortune is a blessing. This was his initial remarks which was received and applauded by the delegates who were present.
Mr. Ampofo noted he remained unshaken in his resolved that the NDC’s records achieved in 2016 will transcend that of the NPP after eighteen months in government, if both party’s track records are subjected to strict prove due to the fact that the Akufo led regime has woefully failed Ghanaians.
Hon. Samuel Ofosu – Ampofo told the gathering that, the party can forever remain election winning machinery for successive polls if the NDC put its house in order.
He explained that, he is ever ready to help the party increase its votes in the five Akan speaking constituencies since a chunk of the votes emanates from those Akan domineering areas.
Aside the Akan speaking regions Mr. Ampofo again stated that the central region is key to the success of the party moving forward, because in the history of politics in the country it is known for its swing nature ; which can make or unmake a party. He continue and remark that, these regions are strategic regions, and he will do everything humanly possible to find answers to it superiority edge if the NDC grips hold on during the 2020 Polls.
The aspiring national chairman furthermore retorted that, he is a very strategic person with background in management and he will use such mechanism to rebrand the NDC.
He said he has a blue print and will introduce what he termed as developmental party system to harness resources for the wellbeing of the party members.
Mr. Samuel Ofosu – Ampofo Charged the delegates in the Bodi Constituency to disregard rumours that in his capacity as the elections director of the party he could not collate the 2016 results of the NDC. He asserted to the effect such allegations are false, since the results templates in his possession points to a contrary view.
In explaining further he said it will be in the interest of the party to despise such tendencies and forge ahead for victory in 2020.
“I have come here today to solicit for your vote , and am number 2 on the ballot paper” The aspiring national chairman noted.
“I am very experience and have learned many lessons , especially the father for all thing will not be countenance without any stretch of imagination ”
