Here’s how much BoG’s gold coin is selling on November 13

The investment price of the Bank of Ghana  gold coin continues to decline, a development attributed to  the  Ghana Cedi’s appreciation against the US dollar .

This move aligns with the central bank’s strategic effort to curb dollar hoarding and stabilize the local currency.

As of Thursday , November 13 ,2025, the updated prices for the Ghana Gold coin are as follows:

The 0.25 oz coin is now selling at GH¢ 12,276.90.

The 0.50 oz coin is priced at GH¢ 23,817.94.

The 1.00 oz coin is selling at GH¢ 46,944.80.

This initiative is part of the central bank’s efforts to absorb excess liquidity in the market and bolster the strength of the Ghanaian cedi against major foreign currencies.

The Ghana Gold coin is available in three denominations—One Ounce, Half Ounce, and Quarter Ounce—and is distributed through commercial banks nationwide.
