Hearts of Oak in Talks with Maxwell Konadu Over Coaching Role

Hearts of Oak has reportedly opened discussions with former Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu about potentially taking over as head coach.

This move comes as the Phobians struggle with inconsistency in the Ghana Premier League.

With four matches left, Hearts of Oak sits sixth in the league with 46 points. According to reports, the club plans to transition current coach Aboubakar Ouattara to a technical director role and bring in Konadu as his replacement.

Konadu, a former Black Stars assistant coach, is currently unattached after parting ways with South African club Black Leopards.

It’s unclear whether he’ll accept the potential offer from Hearts of Oak.
