Hearts of Oak Coach Vows to Fight for Top Four Finish
Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has pledged that his team will continue fighting for a top-four finish in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
Ouattara made the vow after the Phobian Club drew 0-0 with Asante Kotoko.
The Ivorian coach described the result as fair but expressed disappointment at his team’s inability to convert chances.
“We came to win, but it’s a fair result. We’ll learn from this game and keep pushing forward.”
Hearts of Oak currently occupy sixth place with 46 points, trailing the fourth-placed team by five points. Ouattara remains optimistic about his team’s chances, saying,
“We’ll keep fighting for top four, top two, or even the title. We’re not giving up.”
Hearts of Oak will look to bounce back from the draw when they face Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park this weekend.
A win would be crucial in their bid to climb up the league table.
