Some departments in hospitals nationwide have been deserted following the strike by the Health Services Workers Union.
This has left some patients stranded because of the absence of records personnel, cleaners, lab technicians, orderlies, among others.
The union is striking in protest of its desire for better conditions of service, which it says have not been fairly addressed.
The Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists is raising concerns over the sustainability of the ongoing covid-19 vaccination due to the strike action by the Health Service Workers Union.
The Public Relations Officer of the laboratory scientists Dennis Adu Gyasi says the covid-19 vaccines will not be properly administered due to the strike by the Health workers Union.
He said the vaccines might expire if the strike continues.
