Chairman of the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Stephen Fosu Agyare says the level of intimidation meted out to his membership is appalling and undermines the rules and tenet of democracy.
He cited the NPP’s Member of Parliament of the constituency, Hawa Koomson as unbearable who has vowed to use all means to prevent seeming opposition member from registering in the on-going voter registration exercise.
He alleged that, even the police have coiled into their shelves whiles supporters of the MP goes around terrorizing people and intimidating them, adding that, any police officer who dares to intervene in the wanton display of terror by the NPP and its appendages faces transfer to remote areas of the country.
