Having my husband as my manager has given me peace of mind – Piesie Esther

Ghanaian veteran gospel musician, Mrs. Esther Asiedu, known as Piesie Esther has shared her opinion on married gospel musicians who are managed by men other than their husbands.

Piesie Esther said it’s risky for a married woman to work with another man as her manager or boss.

According to her, she stays in the studio until 2:00 am before going home which can’t be tolerated by some married men.

She said it is easy for her to be there until that 2:00 am because she is managed by her husband whom she respects as her head, which makes it easy for him to manage her.

“Because of my job schedule, which requires me to travel to the studio late at night to record, finding someone who understands the nature of my work is quite helpful,” she continued.

Several married men find it unbearable that the singer says she may stay in the studio until 2:00 a.m. before going home.

Having your husband as your employer may help resolve hypothetically hazardous circumstances, such as going up and down the stairs with a guy who is not your spouse in the middle of the night.

“After a performance, I occasionally need to switch to a different outfit, and I do so in the car with my husband present since I am aware that he is the one I am married to,” Piesie Esther said in an interview.
