Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Barbara Serwaa Asamoah has indicated that the embattled Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North constituency in the central region, Hon James Gyakye Quayson is the definition of what we call nobility personified.
Speaking on the morning show on Ahotor FM (Adekye mu nsem) hosted by Citizen Kofi Owusu, Lawyer Serwaa Asamoah said, the MP carries some glory with him that makes him unique among others and does not speak anyhow hence the respect from the constituents pushes him to the top anytime.
She, therefore, congratulated the embattled MP for his commitment and good work for the people of the Assin area.
According to her, the NPP never expected him of snatching the seat from them during the 2020 elections, hence their frustration towards him, if possible, to win the seat back but they cannot, she said.
She further explained that a Ghanaian who is born in Ghana and by any means acquires citizenship from another country does not lose his birth rite as a Ghanaian.
