Today marks the implementation of Ghana’s Green Project set aside to plant 5 million trees across the country. The trees are scheduled to be planted today June 11 and it would be mobilized and nurtured as a way of contributing to the preservation of the environment.
The exercise will commence with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, Vice President, Alhaji Mahammudu Bawumia, The speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin and chief justice, Kwesi Anin Yeboah, planting trees.
Meanwhile the Former Deputy Information Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has commended government for this initiative and therefore call for maximum participation and support from government to make it a success.
