Political Analyst Nana Ntow Amirekyi tips the Greater Accra regional minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso west constituency Hon. Henry Quartey as the ideal running mate for H.E Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to him, he will be a fantastic running mate to the New Patriotic Party as they face other political parties in the 2024 general elections.
He indicated that, none of the names that have been mentioned can help the party as they gear up to break the 8.
Speaking with Accra based TV station; Mr. Amirekyi said Henry Quartey is a man of his words. He is not someone who abandoned projects when he starts it, he said.
According to him, whatever the regional minister touched has been completed and still delivering on his course.
He called on the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to choose the Greater Accra regional minister as his running mate or if not then he should go for the former minister of local government, Hon Dan Botwe.
Mr. Amirekyi said he is speaking base on track records and facts, because the governing NPP party needs such to break the 8 if they really mean it.
