Produced by the legendary Sarz, the track blends smooth, laidback chords, infectious percussion, and Lojay’s signature silky vocals, creating a mesmerizing sonic experience. With poignant lyrics and an emotional depth, the song captures the essence of longing, hope, and renewal.
The dreamy production, combined with Lojay’s introspective delivery, makes ‘Somebody Like You’ a seamless fusion of vulnerability and groove. The track also sets the tone for Lojay’s highly anticipated debut LP, Lagosians, slated for release in 2025.
