GPL title race: Medeama Coach Remains Confident
Medeama SC coach Ibrahim Tanko believes his team still has a chance to win the Ghana Premier League title despite a recent defeat to Heart of Lions. Speaking after the match, Tanko expressed optimism, saying, “Anything can happen.”
Tanko assured fans that Medeama will prepare well for their upcoming clash against league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars. “We are going to prepare for our next away game against Gold Stars and try to get our points,” he said.
Although Medeama currently sits fifth in the standings with 41 points, nine points behind Bibiani Gold Stars, Tanko remains hopeful. The Tarkwa-based club still has a chance to clinch the league title if results go in their favor.
Tanko’s confidence reflects his team’s determination to succeed. With several games left to play, Medeama will aim to capitalize on every opportunity to close the gap with the league leaders.
