The Ministry of Communication and Digitalization has finally announced the release of the self registration application for registering of Sim Cards.
However, people who have not registered their sim cards can only access the app on the Google Play Store only for now.
The app can be used only after the first stage of registration which involves linking your Ghana Card has been successful.
The App is only available on Google play store called GH SIM SELF REG.
The Minister of Communications announced while engaging the press that the National Communications Authority (NCA) was coming up with a self registration App to augment the effort of the Telcom companies and help Sim card users meet the September ending deadline for registration.
Ghanaians have been asked to re-register their sim cards.
The deadline for the re-registration has been extended twice because a number of Ghanaians could not meet the deadline.
