Ghana’s entertainment and political firebrand, Kwame A Plus, has once again grabbed the headlines, but this time, it’s not about his usual hard-hitting commentary—it’s about business!
The musician-turned-politician, who serves as the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, is on a mission to turn the constituency into the country’s next major economic hub. And if his latest statement is anything to go by, Gomoa Central might just be on the fast track to becoming ‘the Dubai of Ghana’!
Taking to Facebook, A Plus excitedly announced that his constituency is set for a business revolution. “Gomoa Central will soon become a major economic hub, attracting businesses and investors from across Ghana and beyond,” he posted. But it wasn’t just words—he backed it up with action!
The outspoken MP recently led a high-powered delegation on a feasibility tour to explore investment opportunities in the area. The team included key industry players such as Mr. Ben Arthur, Executive Secretary of the Lands Commission; Dr. Fareed, Ghana Coordinator of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA); and Mr. Kwame Nsiah Asante, Director of Enclaves & Zones at the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA). Also in attendance were heavyweights like Mr. Kofi Aban, CEO of Rigworld & Black Oak Ghana, and legal expert Kwame Nyankopon.
During the tour, the delegation inspected potential sites for an industrial park, visited existing solar farms, and even made a stop at R&B Farms, which holds the title of the biggest fish farm in West Africa. But that’s not all—they also explored the luxurious Mankoview Resort, reinforcing A Plus’s vision of transforming Gomoa Central into an economic powerhouse.
Perhaps the most intriguing comment came from Mr. Kwame Nsiah Asante, who revealed that he had postponed other important engagements just to be part of the groundbreaking initiative. “Anything that will help develop Ghana and create employment for the youth is worth my time,” he declared, further proving that the vision for Gomoa Central is bigger than just politics—it’s about national progress.
A Plus’s rallying cry was simple but powerful: “Dubai was built by human beings—Gomoa Central will be built by humans. Yes, we can!” He urged business-minded individuals not to wait until it’s too late to invest in the area. “ Run to Gomoa Central – the future of business is HERE! Had I known is always at last,” he warned.
With such a bold vision and high-profile support, could Gomoa Central really become Ghana’s next big industrial hub? One thing is for sure—Kwame A Plus is making big moves, and the whole country is Watching.
