GOC President Laments Lack Of Technical Brains In Handling The Black Stars
President of the Ghana Olympic Committee, Ben Nunoo Mensah, has expressed concern over the lack of technical expertise in the management of national teams, which he believes is a key reason for the national teams struggles.
Speaking on the challenges the national teams are facing especially the Black Stars ,Ben Nunoo Mensah emphasized that the absence of technical brains has significantly hindered the success of the Black Stars.
According to the GOC President, said current Sudan Head coach Akwasi Appiah has improved drastically in terms of the understanding of the game and need strong technical handlers who can implement strategies and development programs to elevate players and improve performance.
The current situation of the black stars makes it difficult to qualify for the 2025 African cup of nations after losing 2-0 to Sudan in the return encounter of the Afcon qualifiers but in a comfortable place for the 2026 world cup qualifiers after winning all two games played.
