Ghana’s Education Minister deepens UK-Ghana ties in a meeting with H.E Harriet Thompson

Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Ghana’s Minister of Education, recently met with British High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Harriet Clare Thompson, in Accra.

The meeting aimed to strengthen UK-Ghana ties and advance government policies to improve the education sector.

According to Hon. Iddrisu, who is also the Member of Parliament for Tamale South, President John Dramani Mahama has several initiatives to enhance the education sector, and this meeting will help achieve those goals.

The British High Commissioner expressed her country’s readiness to support Ghana’s efforts to improve education for all citizens.

This meeting is a significant step towards fostering international collaboration and investment in Ghana’s education sector.

With the support of the UK, Ghana can leverage expertise, resources, and best practices to address pressing challenges in education, such as infrastructure development, teacher training, and curriculum implementation.
