*GHANAIANS MUST BE VIGILANT AGAINST A BIAS EC
*Accra, Ghana 21st September 20241. The act and exercise of partiality of the electoral commission of Ghana if not obstructed, is a threat to our democracy and a violent end to our hard fought 4th republic. This is not the electoral commission we grew up adoring and certainly not the commission that built the reputation of Ghana’s electoral fortunes, led for 21 years by Dr. Kwakwo Afari-Gyan and also by Mr Justice V.C.R.A.C Crabbe in 1971. Their leadership was an embodiment of the epitome of transparency, credibility and integrity.With the legacies of her predecessors, Mrs Jean Mensa has all the resources to be a great chair person of the electoral commission after her retirement but she is far from that legacy
2. It’s a sad reality, that the commission today has become an extension of the New Patriotic Party which is pretending as an electoral referee and is incompetent while at it. The commission has been packed with party foot soldiers and apparatchiks. Mr Appiah Adjei a deputy commissioner of the electoral commission is a well known tescon patron, Dr Peter Appiahene is a commissioner who doubles as a campaign team member of Dr Bawumia. The EC IT is supervised by Dr Ofori a tescon patron who is assisted by Yaw Kwakye a direct associate of President Nana Addo. The least said about Mr Bano Bio and Dr Bossman Asare the better. This is the root and mischief at the electoral commission. NDC Station cautions Ghanaians that the soul of our nation and the fabric of our democracy is at the verge of collapse and we must arise in vigilance to save it. The December 7 polls is not only to defeat the NPP but also to save Ghana from Jean Mensa and her colleagues.
3. NDC Station asserts, the events of Friday 20th September, 2024 of the balloting process at the EC is a dark day in Ghana’s electoral history. At the full glare of Ghanaians, the electoral commission was allegedly supervising a fraudulent balloting process and tempering balloting balls. The integrity of December 7 elections is already trapped in deceit and fraudulence which will not succeed.
4. NDC Station urges Ghanaians to be watchful with all intent because the enemy is not only the *elephant*, we’re also in a war against the *referee* (EC). We’re in battle against oppressors, thieves and nation wreckers poised to continue their plunder for four (4) more years. Ghanaians are equally aware of all the independent candidates and other parties planted and sponsored by the NPP to aid thier fruitless quest for winning this elections to be mindful, for the day of reckoning is upon them.The wrath, pain and anger of Ghana will be released on them soon.
5. NDC Station charges all Ghanaians that this election is not for John Mahama and NDC. It is for You and I, our future and children. Above all is for Ghana, we can’t be tired now. 73 more days to victory. We watch with a gimlet eye. We work hard and in unity like the ants.
