Ghanaian super agent Kofi Goran returns to Accra for scouting on April 29

Goran visited Ghana in February to reconnect with key figures in the country’s football space. During his visit, he met with personalities such as former GFA president Kwesi Nyantakyi, Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, and current GFA president Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku.
As the 2025/2026 football season draws to a close across the globe, new opportunities are emerging for young African footballers eager to take their talent to the next level.
He also watched several Ghana Premier League matches, including Vision FC’s impressive 3-2 comeback win over Bechem United at the Nii Kwaku Sports Stadium in Tema, where he reportedly identified two players for the European market.
European super-agent Kofi Goran, known for securing major deals for African players with top European clubs, is once again creating a platform for talent in Ghana and beyond.
In an exclusive interview with multi-award-winning journalist Kofi Champion, Goran confirmed that he will return to Accra on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, accompanied by four technical directors from top European clubs such as AC Milan and Atlético Madrid.
With only a few weeks left to end the football season in Ghana, Goran’s visit is expected to include attendance at the Premier League and Division One League matches, as well as scouting tours of youth academies in Accra, notably the academy run by former Black Stars defender Samuel Inkoom.
Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairman Nyaho-Tamakloe described Goran’s initiative as a major opportunity for local players.
According to him, Goran’s strong connections with European clubs and his successful work with star players like Sulley Muntari, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Lee Addy, Prince Tagoe, Daniel Opare, and others make this initiative a valuable gateway for Ghanaian talent.
Expanding his footprint in the world of football, Goran recently opened a new office in Budapest under his agency Virtus International.  As part of his growing presence in Africa, he is set to commission another office in Accra.
The Accra office will be spearheaded by former Black Stars defender Lee Addy, who has been appointed as Head of Scouting for Virtus International in Ghana and across Africa.
Goran’s return to Ghana signals a significant moment for the country’s football ecosystem. With increased international attention and direct links to European clubs, young players now have a clearer pathway to showcase their talent on the global stage.
If properly utilised, this initiative could help reshape the future of Ghanaian football by creating more opportunities and exposure for the next generation of stars.
