Ghana U16 Team Prepares for Guadeloupe Invitational Tournament
The Ghana U16 male national team will begin preparations for the 7th edition of the Guadeloupe U-16 Invitational Tournament at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on May 6, 2025.
The team, led by Head Coach Nii Odartey Lamptey and his assistants John Oppong Welbeck and Awudu Issaka, will face top teams from around the world, including Mexico, France, and Brazil.
The Guadeloupe U-16 Invitational Tournament is a premier global youth competition that provides Ghana’s young talents with international exposure and a chance to benchmark themselves against elite peers.
Participation in the tournament aligns with the Ghana Football Association’s youth development strategy.
A list of invited players has been released, and the team will report to camp on May 6, 2025, ahead of the tournament, which is scheduled to start on May 25, 2025.
