The National U-15 Boys’ team has begun its preparations for the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship WAFU-B Qualifiers in Hohoe.
A 40-player provisional squad has been invited to camp, and the team will undergo intensive training and assessment sessions under the supervision of the technical staff.
The squad is expected to be pruned down before departure for the competition, which takes place in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from November 29 to December 4, 2025.
Ghana will participate in both the boys’ and girls’ categories of the WAFU-B qualifiers, aiming to secure qualification for the CAF African Schools Football Championship continental finals. The country enters the qualifiers with renewed confidence, following an outstanding showing in the previous edition.
The WAFU-B Zone features football powerhouses such as Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, Benin, Niger, and hosts Burkina Faso. Ghana’s next generation of footballers are eager to showcase their abilities and uphold the country’s proud footballing tradition.
