In a heartfelt display of faith and national unity, Ghana’s Sports Minister Kofi Adams paid a special visit to Prophet Adom Kyei’s Philadelphia Church in Ghana, where he sought divine intervention and prayers for the Black Stars ahead of their crucial FIFA World Cup campaign.

Addressing a large and enthusiastic congregation, Minister Adams highlighted that Ghana’s third group-stage match would take place in Philadelphia, USA, against Croatia, and expressed strong confidence that God would grant the team victory on that very soil. He emphasized the spiritual significance of the venue, noting the powerful alignment between the city’s name and the church where the prayers were being offered.

Adams also took the opportunity to publicly thank Prophet Adom Kyei for his consistent support and spiritual backing of Ghanaian sports over the years, crediting such prayers with contributing to past successes.

The visit came as the Black Stars prepare to open their tournament campaign against Panama on June 17, with the entire nation rallying behind the team in a blend of athletic ambition and deep religious conviction.
