Ghana Premier League: Hearts of Oak draw again on the road to Basake Holy Stars

Accra Hearts of Oak have picked a second straight draw again after settling for goalless on the road to Basake Holy Stars on Sunday.

Hearts we were meeting Holy Stars for the second time the Premier League history having engaged them in the season’s opener where the Phobians were stunned at home losing 1-0 to the newcomers at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Both teams played well created a plethora of chances but all failed to find the back of the net over 90mins of football.

The draw means Hearts of Oak only picked one point from possible six from both fixtures against Holy Stars and mark their second 0-0 drawn game in their last two outings but Abubakar Ouattara and his charges remain unbeaten in their last five games.

Hearts of Oak are now fifth with 30 points—4points behind new leaders and bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko.

The Rainbow lads will hope to revenge Heart of Lions whom they lost 2-0 in September in the first round when they host them on Sunday at the Legon Sports Stadium.
