“We want to encourage Asare that what he is doing for the country, we appreciate it,” Amponsah stated.
Asare has been a standout performer in the Ghana Premier League this season. He matched his previous record of 16 clean sheets with Accra Great Olympics in just his debut season with Hearts of Oak, with three games still to play.
The Ex Goalkeepers Union hopes their recognition will inspire Asare and other goalkeepers to strive for excellence. The union’s gesture demonstrates their commitment to supporting and encouraging talented goalkeepers in Ghana.
Asare’s impressive form has earned him recognition, and he is expected to continue performing well for Hearts of Oak.
With three games left to play, he aims to maintain his form and contribute to the team’s success.
